Custom Sissy bar options instead of BDM

Hi guys,
I found a place that has custom sissy bars with a way to attach it to the bike without having to spend it for new struts. Its GINZ CHOPPERS
Sissy bars for Custom Bikes, Harley Davidson and Metric bikes . Gin is sending me a set of his universal "bullet" mounts to try on the Dog. They bolt to the struts. He has photos of bikes with the mounts and bars. I'm thinking it might be a nice way to attach some of these custom bars.

Here is a photo of one of his customers bikes with the mounts and bar.

As soon as mine get here, I'll let you know the outcome.

Actually,
He sent me the mounts for free. We are stuck on how to do it without having to move the tail lights. The issue is, I have a P-pad so the bar has to be past that. The lights are right were it needs to go. Gin said he would make me a custom bar, that is bent to follow the strut, to get it back far enough, but I wanted an option that is cheaper then big dogs, but looks good too. Of course, if our fender was actually made of sheet metal, this wouldnt' be a problem. Got a love it!

At this point, stay away......

Not ready to throw him/them under the bus, but close.

I am still trying to reach out to 'em before I say a bunch of stuff on an open forum.

More to come.

quite honestly this is what you guys get for not goin with a prooven source that time and time again has been nothin but successful for us here on the forum, yous are told to research these things out quite easily by hitting the little search feature on the tool bar and you woulda have had endless posts on different bars eric has made for members,if we werent able to do them ourselves.....sorry to see you are having your problems....hopefully a lesson learned.....

The proven source does not list a quick release Harley bracket.

If he has that, he should have it on his site.

Just ask Eric for what you want and he can make it, thats what custom means. If you want stock bolt on shit then keep your harley.

Umm yeah, I know what custom is.

I also know I don't want to pay for custom right now. I have over $60k in my bike and this is a removable sissy bar.

Here is my ride:

It is so I can strap a backpack on and off faster for my daily commute to work. I wanted something tall enough that I could just slide the loops over without having to bungie it twice a day.

Hey Bikers Dream,
How are you attaching them to the Big Dog. I have an 03 Chopper, and trying to find a way to attach the sissy bar with enough space for the P-pad and clear the rear lights is nearly impossible.

B, You can buy the blocks on the Daytec website that can drilled and taped to your struts.
Posted here many times as an option for those that don't have receiver struts. :D
