Davinci Carb - Is it?

So I picked up a Davinci Carb and not really sure how to confirm it's had the full treatment. It has the "booster kit" and screw kit. The vacuum port/cap is missing, not sure if its supposed to be there or not, couldn't find any pics online to compare against.

I had originally planned on sending my carb to XXX for modding and had spoken to Bob. He mentioned he runs .60 air bleed and for my bike I should be in the 32/76 range. The carb though came with 28/80 and 35 air bleed? Funky set up. Carb looks (and smells) never used though.

Thoughts? Go with 32/76/60 and see how it feels?

p.s. I may have a Stock G carb for sale soon! :D

It looks complete to me, and as eric said, it's sweet looking to boot...:2thumbs:

I would say install it first and then you will see how it runs on your bike. If not happy with the current set up you can change jets with just dropping the Bowl, no need to take the carb off the bike to change jets. It does sounds weird combo of jets to me though

As per where the vacuum cap should be... it looks like the "tube/whole" where the cap should go does not exist, so... in your set up it might not be necessary???

looks like it might have been seated on the gasket area at some point. Have you bolted it on your bike berfore this picture. Just curious.

Strange  If it has a hole where the vacuum fitting should be, it needs to be plugged. Otherwise, you will have an intake leak. It's almost as if they didn't press that nipple back into the hole
Yes I said nipple and hole

Thanks fellas!

Nope, haven't bolted it on yet. Going to order different jets this week.

As for the vacuum, the threaded hole is there, but the nipple is missing? Is it supposed to be? Or should I put the one from current carb on when I install it.

You know that Bob at XxX probably built that carb? That's where he worked before opening up his own shop
