Derby cover gasket

OK give the idiot his due ration of crap.......now a 101 question . The stock derby cover gasket on the 08 Ridge, what type is it? I need to order a few and I dont want to take off the derby cover until they get here. I see that D. Kirk offers no less then 5 types. cork, cork paper, silicone etc. Whats the best to use. Also the manual refers to scrapping off the old sealer and using new with the gasket. What sealer are we using out there?

no gasket behind it.( no hole behind em like a HD). its only there for looks... the only gasket you may need is a access cover .. or the primaery o-ring....

Now that I re read the itsi bitsy manual that I have I see that it does say "inspection cover" not Derby cover......sheit.....operator error, and I'm the freakin opeator.
