Does anyone have a heat sensor display on their Dog?

I bought a digital heat sensor but it requires you to put the conductor sensor under the spark plug and I'm hesitant to do that on just one plug. Is that something that wouldn't interfere with the spark being a few centimeters higher than normal? If not is it a good idea to put a washer under the other plug so they are both raised at the same heighth? I'm also trying to figure an alternate place to mount the sensor on the head without causing any problems. I'd like to monitor the temp of the heads while riding and not just with a digital thermostat when I get off the bike.
I appreciate your wisdom Dog Riders!!!!
