Had to replace my battery today so I checked
the ehc out and found that the studs that hold
it in place are broke? Can the bolts be repaired?
I put j-b epoxy on them and I hope it will hold?
Any ideas would be great??

Jerr, check the recalls on the EHC. The old style had those two bolts just soldered on the bottom of the case. New style is different. You may be able to get it replaced.

Otherwise just zip tie it and make sure it doesn't vibrate too much and you should be good for now.
While you have it apart you might want to ensure the inside of the cable connections have been packed with die-electric grease.

Back when I had an EHC (glad it's gone!) same thing happened. I used Velcro to mount it back on and ran like that for two years with no problems.

Sorry no recall for that.

Wasn't referring the recall was for the broken studs but being he has an 06 it may have slipped through and he may still have the old potted material one that was recalled. :D
