electrical problems

Took the dog out for a ride today pulled it the garage fired right up and ran great at first rode about 20 miles stopping a few times then bike shut down now i have no power to bike i have had the bike have no power one time before when i went to start it unhooked the battewry and reconecdted it the next day and its been fine every since. tomme the key switch seems to have alot of play being i can move the key quite a bit whr=en in the switch. could this my issue. im thinking i need a new ehc. any help would be great.

I am betting the key switch. If you can get the bike to start, try wiggling the key and see if bike shuts down. When mine failed I couldn't make it shutdown. I put a jumper wire accross the switch, problem disappeared. Replaced switch no problem since.

hooked the battery back up after sitting unhooked over night and the bike fired right up.i did notice that on my ehc only one red light came on and none of the other ones did is this normal?

I went with the Sportster switch that Jake is using with the Wire Plus system.

I am having the same problem. Turn key to 'on' position and i get nothing. no lights, not even on the ecu. The switch is not the problem. I checked it and have continuity across it when switched on. I am going to do a few more chex that have been put to my head by buds at work but was interested to see if anyone else has had this problem and knew what it might me? (burnt ecu?)
