Finding Nuetral

Anyone out there got any occasional problems with their dog not wanting to slip into Nuetral?

yes, What Chris said.... flipping the throttle and click into neutral just when the rpm's start to lower. Helps relieve the tension on the transmission.

also, if you want to take it a little farther, make sure the heim joints are lubed and in line with each other. also relieves stress on the linkage.

Mine is 4 years old and I still can't find neutral without the throttle! lol

You may have already checked, but I've had to adjust a bit more pull out of the clutch cable - it may be disengaging enough to shift through the gears, but perhaps not enough to fully keep the gears from moving slightly making it tough to get it clicked into neutral.

:iagree:Yup Yup Everything they said. IF all else fails and say your where you want to be, at your watering hole or home or just parkin' the bike, shut it off and then go to neutral works everytime:2thumbs:
