fork wiper seal ???

have 05 bulldog w inverted forks want to replace oil seals and teflon wider seals local shop keeps getting wrong part from big dog (wiper seals) anyone got a good harley pn or now a shop that has a new set waiting since jan for the wiper seals

What size are your forks?

Mine are 54mm but it is an 02' with a Mean Streets Inverted Front End.

04 has the 54 mm Mean Street as well...

is 54 diameter of piston/sliding portion of fork

The 54mm is the fork tube.

I should have the HD part number for the seals and I will check to see if I still have the BDM bushing numbers.

HD Oil Seal # 45875-84A

BDM Slide Bushing # 130-000078-00
BDM Guide Bushing # 130-000071-00

You need 1 of each for each fork tube.

called meen street forks said i dont need the teflon wiper seal they are known to hold abrasives and scratch the fork tubes but said they would look around monday for a set for me thx everybody
side note they also said that they went to an o ring in there newer forks

An O-Ring would be a hell of a lot easier to get out than than bushings, that's for sure.

They are good guys to work with, I just got a set off trees from them a couple of weeks ago.

They said I would have them in a couple of weeks and I HAD them in a couple of weeks and they are nicer than I expected.
