Forward Extensions

I am new to the world of big dogs and have question about the 2 1/2" forward extensions. Are they easy to install or do the brake lines and other things have to be extended. It is an 06 K9. Is it best to get them from big dog or somewhere else. Thank you for all the feedback!

They come with brake line extensions but I think most here didn't need the extensions. I have a 05 chopper and didn't need them. Doesn't really matter where you get them. Fairly simple install, just remember to index the shifter so you have enough travel to up shift and down shift.

Howdy, I put this kit on my 06 K9 last year. Very easy install. I did use the rear brake extension piece that comes in the kit with no problem. I used the Big Dog kit and am pleased with the quality and the instructions. It makes for a much more comfortable ride, I cant imagine riding the without the extensions anymore. The BD kit blends in so nice that its not noticeable as an add on.
