Good evening All:

Currently at a friends house. Trying to start his HD/V-rod.
Full tank of (fresh) 93/octane gas.
New plugs.
New battery.
Just won't fire-up.
I appericate any advice.

I suggested a "K-9" be he is stuck on HD.

Thanks for your help.

Did it run before the new plugs or has it run since they were installed?

Do you have spark?

Does the fuel pump come on?

Since it has a new battery, was it just installed?

Does it have a "power commander" type module installed?

Just a little more info if you could. Does it just turn over fine but not fire up?
I assume if it a EFI bike. What year?
If the crank position sensor is dead it will spin and not fire?

Dog 10, My first bike was a Vrod.. Has he removed the baffles for the exhaust. It will not start if their isn't any back pressure. The 2nd one, the bike has sensor off the transition, which sense the rotation of the trany, if you this sensor is out it will not send a signal to the fuel injection system. These were my only two issues in 3 years and 11,000 miles.. They have a forum as well 1130.com -- or goole vrod form

Final analysis:

We removed the spak plugs, turned the engine over and NO SPARK at all.

Time for the tow truck.

Thanks to all.
