THE FRONT CYLINDER ON MY 2003 107"S&S IS HEATINNG UP AND GETTING A LOT HOTTER THAN MY REAR CYLINDER IS EVEN JUST SITTING THERE IDLING. I TRIED TO CHECK FOR AN INTAKE LEAK BY USING WATER TO SEE IF IT WOULD START MISSING BUT, NO SUCH LUCK. WHAT ELSE MIGHT BE CAUSING THIS ISSUE?

JUST PULLED PLUGS, FRONT PLUG HAS SOME CARBON BUILD UP AND IS DRY. THE REAR PLUG HAS LITTLE CARBON BUILD UP AND IS ALSO DRY. BOTH PLUGS ARE BLACK.

Check both of your plugs and compare them to each other and then post what you find, color, wet, dry, etc. Post pics if you can.

Not Really. WD-40 or carb. cleaner usually works best on intake leaks, rpms will change if there's a leak.
Soapy water works good to find minor exhaust leaks.

Big exhaust you can feel with your hand or by using a small flame, like a lighter.

Being an '03 if you have never had an intake seal leak, or seals replaced most likely they are dried out and need to be replaced. Best way to check for a leak is to start the bike, run at idle and spray one cyl. at a time from the RIGHT side of the bike, NOT left. Use parts cleaner spray, NOT water. Right side is the side that your air cleaner is on. Left is Primary side. If RPM fluctuates at all, you most likely have an intake leak.
Some other items to check.... check the rubber plug on your intake nipple on the top of the intake. They tend to dry rot very fast and need replacing often. This will also cause an intake leak.
Another part to check is the fuel/air mixture screw located in the top of your carb body. You do a search on hear I'm sure there is a how to on adjusting this. But, make sure you take the needle all the way out and check to see if it has a groove worn into the tapered end of the needle. If it has any groove, replace it, $7.95 retail. If it has a groove this will cause the motor to run very rich.
Lastly, replace your spark plugs with a set of new NGK's.
Any other questions feel free to ask here or PM me.
