Mach_1 Active Member Oct 22, 2009 #3 I just painted my chrome front fork support because the chrome was peeling, i bead blasted as much of the chrome off as I could and then sanded off the rest with 180 grit then hit it with 380 to smooth it out a little before I painted it.
