i have a 2001 mastiff. startr went out so got a new one. installed it with no issues.cranked the bike with fresh battery and engine turned over. tried again and now starter spins like it not engaging. played with positive terminal and it turned over. noticed little box on battery with green wire that goes to starter. red light does not come on. if i unplugged that wire from starter and hit starter, red light lights. im confused. didnt think a starter could be so difficult or am i just maing this difficult? please help.
