head light issues

Looking for some help from you Big Dogs. 2001 pitbull new to me just started this: highbeam and indicator are always on regardless of switch position, I can turn off the low beam by putting it in the high beam position, but in the low beam position both high and low beams are on. searched and read a bazzilion posts and did the following suggestions bulb is good, replaced socket it was melted pretty bad, checked continuity between ground wire and neg. battery terminal it was good. nothing has changed.thanx,g.

What voltages are you getting between ground and the yellow line and ground and the white line?

Thanx for the reply, the voltages are both battery voltage 12.45 +-

Check your switch, make sure it isn't shorting in the low beam position. Check your wiring under the tank make sure nothing is shorting from rubbing.
