Any corrosion on the socket ? Burning out both hi and low beams?

Check for a rubbed through wire inside the headlight bucket. It happened to me last year.

No need for multiple posts Denver. I moved both to the Help Wanted section.

As for your problem what have you done to the bike. Any recent changes? Have YOU pulled the headlight and checked out the plug? Do you have any fault lights on your EHC?

For me, it turned out to be operator error. Ensure that everything is mounted correctly, especially that rubber piece in there, then tighten it down right.

Nothing real new here that others haven't already suggested, but my bike was blowing headlight bulbs at the rate about 3 per week. In checking the wires to the battery, I located one that pulled out of its terminal connector with a slight tug. Soldered it back on, and no problems since.
