Headlight

I just bought a 2004 Ridgeback. When i got the bike home and was going to go for a ride and the headlight doesnt work. The high beam indicator flashes but headlight is not on. All the other lights work just fine. Any ideas?

Blown bulb maybe?

check to see if the bulb is burnt out. if low beam is out it will switch to high beam and vice versa. I assume if both are out, the high beam indicator will flash

This happened to me. Was loose wire in socket caused by heat. I replaced with a porcelain socket. There is a thread on here about where to get one. For $5 I would recommend it.

Same here as Zero, mine would go to high beam when I would start it, then I could switch it to low beam. Took it apart and found wire had broke.
