headlights came on

Came home while ago and noticed my MC headlight was on. No key in the ignition. Light switch is off. It went off for awhile and is now back on.

Is this an indicator my battery is dead? Havent had any problems with nor has any work been done on it!

my 2005 chopper did that once, i forget what i did , disconnected the battery and let it sit. Dont remember if it was low, and it never happened again

my friends did it 3 weeks ago,they found nothing wrong with it and he feels the possibility of him washing it a little more thourough than usual could have penetrated the electrical system and set it afowl....never happened again

Mine did that once after riding through a heavy rain. Sitting under the camp, the lights came and flashed a few times. After it dried up, no more problems. That was before I put dielectric grease in all my fittings.
