HELP 07 bulldog
On the last 50 miles of 70 mph hwy ride she started to sputter and black out the pipe. in all the plugs fouled black. replaced plugs with same NGK DCPR7E. I have noticed the tank liner is getting bad , u know that green crap in the tank.
Since the new plugs its better but not quite up to par. Could the liner do this or is their other things to look for ?

It could be liner that cause the problem that needs to be fixed anyways I've had some very small peices of trash get in between the needle and seat and cause a problem even on fuel injection . But make sure you double check the adjustments on the carb. Simple stuff first . Get liner fixed too!

The 07 Bulldog is a EFI bike, no carb...

Personally I do not think the tank liner coming apart would cause you to foul plugs, go lean as hell, yes.....The liner would clog the sock that feeds fuel starving the engine.
Do you have a engine light on?
I would think the O2's would be more of a culprit if the plugs are fouled black dumping fuel. I have seen them do funny things when the IAC takes a shit too.
If the head temperature sensor shorts out it will think the bike is cold and dump fuel all the time too thinking it is in cold start up mode. The diamond cut heads are known for damaging sensor cables especially the plug wires...
