Help with Pegs and Grips

So my Pit has the banded pegs and grips and I can already see (after just a few months) that these things are no good. The grip rubbers are already starting to slide out of place, and the foot pegs are showing a LOT of wear, and in just a short period of time.

Now, I researched a lot of previous posts and see that (on the grip side) that there are VERY FEW that will fit a Big Dog, since it has a larger diameter handlebar than most. I also read where a lot of people purchased the XOPRODOX parts that are supposed to fit. Now, I found some pegs and grips on ebay that match, but the pegs, even though they say for a Big Dog, don't look as if they will fit without some sort of modification. So, if someone doesn't mind, could you take a look at these and tell me if I need something additional, and if so, what?

Also, if you know any links to sites that make custom pegs and grips for our Dogs, if there are any!?!?!?

TexasRaider: From the description in the ad these should fit your ride. Big Dog went proprietary in 04. So anything marked for Big Dogs 04 and up should fit.

TexasRaider - when the time comes that you replace your pegs, let me know. I'll take them off your hands. I've been searching for the toe pegs.

Can you just replace your rubbers? For the pegs & grips that is

Could replace, but seeing as I have just under 1k miles on my bike, I fear that this will be something I do often, and I would just rather eliminate the problem.

If I do figure out what I am going to do on my pegs and grips, PA, I will let you know.

I am interested in the grips as mine are starting to have the chrome peal off. When it works for you let me know. Thanks
