HID light issue

I installed the HID kit from Jake about two months ago, it has been working fine without any issues till today. It will turn on for about a half a second then it automatically switches over to the high beam bulb and that works fine. Just wondering if these HID bulbs don't last to long or it is an electrical issue? The bike is a 06 Mastiff if it makes a difference. Thx in advance for any input.

i had the same problem, noticed that the inside assembly was lose and everytime i would hit a bump or take off fast it would do that. tighten it up and has not gone out again.

Was finally able to check the light out. After checking all the connections everything looked fine and the HID light still would not stay on. So i ordered a replacement bulb assembly from Jake. Hope this fixes the issue.

Got the new bulb installed last night and it works again. I hope this bulb last longer than 2 months like the last one.
