Hi I have a 2009 mastiff and I can't get my foot between the running board and the shifter lever. Can anyone tell me how to adjust it?

I'm not sure because I'm not near my bike, but don't you just turn the heim joints in and out of the shift linkage making it shorter or longer thereby raising and lowering the shifter arm? I'm not sure. I've never messed with it.

Ok, I got it figured out. Loosen the lock nuts on both heim joints on the shift linkage. The front one is left hand threads, so go the opposite direction. Twist the shift linkage towards you. This will make the linkage shorter and raise the shift lever. Twisting it away from you will make the linkage longer and lower the shift lever. Remember to tighten the lock nuts when you have it where you want it.

Edit: The left hand thread could be on the back end depending on which way the linkage was installed.
