How to on Jetting

I have searched all over looking for a how to on jetting with pictures. I have found 1 but the pictures do not load. I ordered the D & M twister and have the MLB pipes installed. If jetting is required I would like to do this myself.

A good bit of advice is make bold changes, one at a time so you're not chasing it around trying to detect suttle performance changes. Also keep in mind that most of your riding is done on the intermediate (smaller) jet. Remember to pull the bowl vent and don't be afraid to open up that air bleed if you have trouble on the transition/upper midrange. Use a sharpie and mark your throttle in 1/4 turn increments. I usually take mine out on a stretch of open highway with a gas station. I take all my tools with me so I can blast up and down the road for as long as I need to, pulling into the gas station to make the jet changes so I'm not aggravating my neighbors. Be patient.

Curtis,
I did get the MLB's with the heatshields had them on for about a year I think, no problems so far. they do rattle a little but the looks are bad ass, sound is good enough to bother the neighbors. I will post some pics with the new mods.

Okay took the bike out for a test ride. It was hesitant on throttle, at about 60 it cut out on me. pulled over started right up. 1. The bike was cutting out before the filter addition should have figured out why then but got anxious. I have a little gas coming from the bolt on the bottom of the carb bowl brought the bike home and tightened it up. I am thinking jets, I am going out for another test. more to follow

starting by missing and hesitating to completely dead. I took it back out for another test it hesitated at 1st but after going ran lt ran great. so this has me thinking bad gas and the residual in the tank my have been cycling through. the reason I think this may be the problem is the bike was cutting out on me before so I drained the gas out and dropped the bowl. filled the tank with new gas.
