Car tire won't match the contour of your fender and will be flat across. You won't be able to turn the bike to save your ass in a corner. Why ruin a perfectly good look and great handling bike?
Jake thats a simple answer...
Because I can....and perhaps the fender is not in the equation for what I want to do..
Are you sure its a 40 series and not a 35 series tire?
My bad, you are correct...:2thumbs:
It is a 35 series. When I started the thread I had the BDM 2007 manual on the table and for the Bulldog it stated it has a 40 series. I should of known better, I've put 3 tires on the bike..
PROXES R888 | Toyo Tires
Put an r888 on it, you will be lucky to spin it at all. I run two 335/30/18's on my Camaro and they hook nice.
I will give them a look Vegas, Thanks..
I have Goodyear Eagle F1 Supercar 295/35ZR18 tires on the back of by Z06 Corvette and they break loose if you turn the traction control off and bang on it....
Proxes do kick ass. Neil do it if you want. I have givin serious thought to it. Let us know. I bet it won't handle as bad as you may think.
I am not worried about what anyone thinks and they probably don't know how I use the bike anyway. I have a local shop right down the road that I can have a tire radius-ed is what I am wanting to check out anyway to see the difference in the profile of the tire sides and the look on the bike. Everyone is due their opinion I just want data to go with mine..
I wanted to do this last winter and never got a chance so now it is the time to get ready and see....
