If it weren't for bad luck, I'd have no luck at luck at all. Problem # 478. I recently purchased a EHC module for an '03 mastiff. While unhooking the old module, I pulled a slender 8 plug wire away from whatever the hell it was hooked up to and even though the wire is only 12 inches long, I can't seem to find where the opposite end came unplugged from. I'll attach pics if my ignant ass can figure that out. Waiting on you guys to tell me where to look to find the opposite end of this damn plug.

plugs into the idiot light 'module' that is bolted to your dash.

Make sure you are using dialectric grease on ALL your connections.

also, make sure you route your speedo, tach and idiot light wiring properly.

call if you need help.

Shit~!!! it's been a couple of days since I took it apart and I set the "idiot lights" to the side. Thanks a million. It still doesn't fix my problem with the lights like I was hoping it would. Plan B going into affect. The problem started when my wife and i were riding double. Maybe the wire under the rear fender rubbed when her big................bubble butt got on the back. Damn, I love that ass. Thanks again for the information. I'll pick up on all this one day.

Her problem was in her rear....fender

Sure enough! I thought I had looked at this before crying to everyone here, but after a second look with a little better flashlight, the wires going into the tail light had rubbed and shorted against one another. After removing the fender and splicing, all is well again. We took our bikes for a cruise this Sunday. 8 hours total. Way to much riding for one day for me. I can ride all day in the French Quarter, but that long on the highway makes for a sore ass. Thanks again guys! Oh, there is still one thing, all the lights are now working except the brake lights and the turn signals don't time out. I thought a few beers would help......and it did, but the lights still have a problem. Any suggestions?
