ignition problem!

2000 bigdog husky s&s 107 sa thunder-heart duel fire ignition.rode the bike to work with no problems went to leave and had no fire.found that the cam sensor was bad replaced it .i have fire but it spits and pops it turned the rear exaust purple were it slips on what could be going on?

no i havent set the timming. guess it's time to get the bd manual out now that i have a direction to go was at a dead end because i didnt think the timing could move if i put the cam sensor back in the same spot. thanks, for the reply

I checked the bdm book it say's bdm use an electronic ignitionsystem that must be timed utilizing a special timing module. IS THIS TRUE AND NO WAY AROUND IT!

You time it just like any other cam ignition.
