Yep, it matters. From the coil, front to front jug. Back to rear jug. If this is correct, ck the coil wiring. If this does not solve the popping, ck and/or replace the rubber caps on the carb. They dryrot n suck air.Heres a question I feel stupid for even asking but,I know the firing order on a 107'',however its got a single coil dual fire setup for the ignition,is it possible to get the plug wires switched back wrong,or does it matter?
HMAN has it right. Popping usually happens with a lean condition. Check for vacuum leaks at your intake and also check your exhaust pipes are tight. Clean out your carb bowl and go through these adjustments.ok,that's how they're done so I'll check carbs thank you for the reply
I stand corrected. Thanks ShannonActually, on a duel fire coil, it doesn't matter which wire goes where. Both plugs are firing at the same time.
Perhaps on a dual fire they do but on a duel fire one might be faster than the other -- after all that's how you win a duel! (as well as being a good shot).Actually, on a duel fire coil, it doesn't matter which wire goes where. Both plugs are firing at the same time.
