K9 WIRES

Hi;

I just purchased a 2006 K9, so i havent started yet because the battery is dead,(I got it in a police auction) it is connected to a battery charger now, but i was checking all the fluids, spark plugs etc before i start the bike and i found a USB plug and a small black plug with a blue and black wires, itr seems like it should be connected somewhere but i coudnt find where.

Can somebody tell me me what are they for?

Any help would be appreciated!

The usb plug is used to connect to a PC that has special software to read the motor history and reflash the main computer. I think the other wire is for air ride.

I beleive those are the plugs that a service center would hook up to.

Now the battery is almost full, and the speedometer doest light up and the right side of blinkers light up but they dont blink any clues??

do you know how long the bike sat in impound? the EHC uses about 2% of the battery a day to maintain it's program so if the battery was dead for a long time, you probably need to find a service center that has the program so they can re-flash the EHC or maybe just go with the wire-plus. just thinkin'

They said it was there for like 2 months but looking at the bike for sure was maybe 4 months or more.

yes the blue and black connector are for the are ride setup.
