Loose Throwout Bearing

Curious if the clutch throwout bearing assy is supposed to be loose? The bearings look ok but when I push on the assy, the whole assy moves.

I have a new one in my hand and it has NO movement,, other then Bearing movemnt.

I just installed a new one and it had a little play cause its all held in the basket with only a C-clip as well as the throwout bearing itself seems to be held together with a C-clip......order a new one if you are that worried about it....will help you sleep better into the nite!!!!!!

Looks Okay to me, it won't move if you pull on the clutch lever
