I am replacing the lower sliders on my 05 Pitbull anyone know the correct tool to remove the M8 1.25 x 25 dampener drain screws at the ends that are impact compatible ?

Allen wrench, manual says use impact wrench. I didn't have an impact wrench. First, remove the lower Fork Plugs (thats those pointed Bling tips) then you will have access to the M8 1.25 X 25 dampener screws. When those come out don't loose the metal washer on each leg. FYI, if you leave the hardware intact on the top of your fork tubes this will keep fork spring applying pressure to the Damper Tube making it easier to get the M8 1.25 X 25 screws out.
On this web site click on Technical, then click on HOW TO sub forms then click on FORKS. Look for How to service your forks by GAS MAN he has illistrations. I have 06 Pitbull, I did fork rebuild 2 or 3 years ago. Use fork oil 10 wt. I know manual says 30 wt but for pro street and Pitbull use 10 wt. The bike shop I went to had only 15 wt and I'm pleased.
