Mutt/Coyote Wheel Swap

I bought some 2009 Coyote wheels from another forum member. I am having them put on while my bike is in the shop for some warranty work. The tech told me there is 1/8" gap after bolting the front Coyote Wheel to the Mutt front end and that he is going to swap bearings to try and correct it?

Anybody else experience this?

if that dosent cant you just make some spacers??
Eric,

That is what I would have thought. I thought the wheels may require some different or additional spacers but the tech didn't mention anything about it. I am certainly not more knowledgable than my technician on the matter so I cannot really question what he is doing.

So swapping bearings didnt work. They said they will have to get spacers from Big Dog. That could potentially take a very long time if Big Dog has them at all. Anybody know anything about the spacers used with 2009 Big Dog Coyote wheels?

I would imagine that Big Dog has these handy. Didn't they offer Coyote wheels if you purchased a Mutt as an incentive last year? Can't imagine that they didn't do thier homework on this!

I actually tried through multiple dealers to receive that incentive but I had no success. The Mutt has exactly the same frame so all it needs is the spacers from current Coyote production (if there is current Coyote production).
