Ok,

So I replaced the stator and Rotor, I found some awesome matching polished stainless steel rotors that match better than stock, I had a broken bolt stuck in my forks because it broke off and I am stuck drilling it out. EZ Out my @ss! So it's apart, but once that is fixed, my electrical is messed up, it died in the fast lane on the 91 with my girl on the back Sunday so it was towed home. I can't get it started now. First my speedo went off while I was riding, my headlight went out because it melted the plastic 3 prong plug that plugs into the headlight. I have been trouble shooting things, my headlight is working but it still won't start. Any ideas?

Was Mr Know it all Right? I am having way too Many Issues with my bike now days! I ride her good, I don't beat her up, I polish her all the time and she is giving me more grief than I deserve... I stress when she is sick! I never say this but I am broke at this very moment, I just paid Cash for my new house which left us cash poor for the moment and people want to charge too much to get the bolt out of my fork. It's the bolt that holds the break calipers on, I have never used my front breaks because the rotor was so warped and now I have all new rotors and pads, it won't do me any good with one bolt. I have been drilling for hours, my drill keeps over heating and I have gone threw 10 drill bits from titanium to colbalt still. However you spell it.

Any ideas on how to get it out? I will post video in a few so maybe it makes sense.

Thanks.

And the Darwin Award for 2011 goes to ME!!!! I don't mess up often and I always laugh at all the stupid things people do. Well maybe in a year or two I may laugh at this one. When I left this post I went back out into my garage and started working on my front fork, it was hard because a friend was helping and broke a drill bit inside, that was the trouble with taking forever. Well after all these hours I drilled it out and got to the end of the bolt, I have no clue whats behind it but I figure it's best I don't keep going. one tiny slip and here it comes!!!! Shock fluid!!!! The worst part is the threads are not clear yet, the hole was not centered because of the drill bit that was stuck there was no way to get it perfect. I would say it is almost half moon shape now and I hope I can re-thread it. I am hoping that if I clean the threads that maybe when I put the bolt in that will hold the fluid in, I am more upset at the stretch's that were caused because of the drill and when my buddy was drilling it. Oh well, it can be replaced but I have more than 8 hours on this alone! YAY!! I WIN the Darwin AWARD! What do you guys think, if I can get the bolt in, should it hold the fluid, maybe I can nylon tape if it helps or JB Weld somehow.

Well it all came together and she is rolling down the road perfect, even on the 91 freeway... I have built Engines in less time than it took to get my baby back on the road. All I need to do now is replace the rear rotor and she will look great. It's just funny how everything happened at once and each had nothing to to with the other.

I am very lucky though, like I said in another post, the bolt holding my forks on was hanging by a thread or two at best. I must of had a angle looking over me and made sure I could see that. Is there anything else I should keep a eye out for as well?
