I posted a couple weeks ago asking for help with a leaky front master cylinder. Well I have since fixed tihs problem; however, now my front break lights are not working. They are working when I use the rear breaks. I checked the the the wire fittings on the handlebars and all seem tight. Has anyone had this issue before? Any suggestions?

Thanks,
Aaron

I would think that the front brakes actuate the brake lights only at the lever. When bleeding the brakes did you disassemble the lever at all?

there is a little sensor in the lever with a little magnet and it has to be fairly carefully positioned in order to work - you've probably knocked it out of whack. There is a tine little allen grub screw type of thing in there you can adjust it with. I just did away with mine and put a banjo switch on the front caliper

I also need help in adjusting the front lever magnet....

I have a switch doing my rear brake light as I have 3 circuits at the rear:
- rear light red
- brake light red
- indicators yellow

The front lever went wrong when I adjusted the angles of the controls :bang: . From that time sometimes the brake lights do not go off. Only when I put a small screw driver in between the magnet and the brake cylinder it goes off.

Seems that I have to adjust it - BUT HOW ???

I adjusted the brake lever up and down - it stays the same. Only when I take out the screws and pull the lever away form the bar it goes off....

There is not even one word in the service manual how to adjust it.... (did I miss anything???)

How do you do it?? It is NO EHC problem!!!!!

Thx
Jochen
