I have to call Jeff at North Shore Motorcycles in the morning on another matter. I'm sure he'll try to help - I will ask him and let you know.

You can try Full House in Winchester VA. They have always done good for me and someone there should be able to get you a part number or the part itself.

I just looked at the manual and an 02 boxer is a 41 mm front end so go anywhere that sells motorcycle parts and get the seals for any showa front end

Can't remember if the 02 Boxer has inverted forks but if not and it has the standard front end like the rest of us then you just need "generic" (HD) 41mm bushings and seals.

Like here? Wonder if BigDog sell a kit like this? 41 mm rebuild
Kaptain America just rebuild his last month so he can tell you if that looks like the right parts. He's the one that told me they were just generic HD parts and I plan on doing mine this month before the summers long rides.

I just ordered two sets of them there rebuilt kits. I need one for wifes trike which I am currently installing a chopper kit  with 41mm 10 over big dog front end. The other set is for my dog which is getting chrome tubes :D :whoop:

The local HD stealer never has any parts on the shelf, has to order most of the generic of common stuff. So, I do it myself via Strokers in Dallas, Mancuso in Houston, or Full Throttle in MI, if it's a BDM item if it's a HD part I go to JPCycles :whoop:

Pisssed,

Hope this helps......

I spoke with Jeff at North Shore Motorcycles here on Long Island who had to do some digging around to confirm that the part number for an 02 boxer fork seal kit is: BDM 130-00526. Thanks, Jeff :2thumbs:!!

With respect to the sizing, he said that the systems and manuals they use were not specific as to the exact size of the seals; however, he could not imagine they were anything but the standard 41mm.

Unfortunately, he did not have the kit in stock so your local dealer could order one directly from Big Dog or he would be happy to try for you, if needed. He was not sure whether Big Dog had one in their inventory so that is an open question. If you want to call Jeff directly, North Shore's number is 516-352-5555.

Cheers,

Chris

Hey Pisssed,
If you don't have any luck you might try Cycle City, the numbers I have are 423-245-2245 or Duane's number is 423-502-5045 (cell). He or his shop has always helped me out in a pinch. Let me know if I can help you any further my friend.

I know its a little late but next time you can get a set of 2000 HD FXST front seals and all the internals. The Big Dog dealer in Baton Rouge is also the Harley dealer. I got the HD parts and they worked fine.
