New Pipes Wanted!

I'm looking to install some new pipes. I have the V&H Big Radius pipes and I keep dragging the danged things when I turn hard to the right.

I wouldn't mind a set that is a little louder, but like most people I want to be able to ride a few hours without having the exhaust getting on my nerves, and I do like my neighbors and don't want to break any windows at 7am.

I've seen a few mods that look like people have taken a grider to them, but then the chrome is gone and rust will soon follow.

Any ideas???

Look through the "Show your Exhaust thread in the Exhaust section.

This will give you some ideas. Me I like Stainless Creations cause you can care for them than chrome.

Good luck,
Ray

Hey Jailer, Dont you like that right side curb feeler:roll:
No man I feel your pain on the big tubes. Exit ramps suck.
One cool thing is at night when I get way ahead of my Bro's on their 98 cubics, they allways know which exit ramp I take from the fireworks show..

You could also either order a new lower heat shield, do a "Hoat Trim Special", and cut down the stock baffles for more sound. imght be a cheaper alternative.

I ground them down and you can't even see it unless you know what you are looking for. No rust no problems.

we do to but i can't compete with some of his prices, we have to much overhead to worry about with all the bikes on the floor and everything

i can still cut some pretty low prices but we have to make a little something to be able to have a nice place to sell these nice bikes

The sparks are kinda kool at night, but scares the heck out of the wife. Mine have just about equalized now though.
