I have recently shipped my 2006 big dog chopper to Italy.
The shipping company wasn't exactly the best so a few things went wrong. They took away the exhaust to make it fit in the container, and they lost the exhaust braket in the process. I got a new one shipped from the US and put the exhaust back in place. After putting everything back in place I have check all fluid levels, put some gasoline in the tank, and replaced the battery with a new one.
I have then attempted to start the motorcycle. Initially the engine has made some good promising noise, and it seemed that it was starting.
But then after a few seconds it started to make some sort of metal grinding noise: when the noise begun the engine was cut off. At that point I looked around and I immediately noticed that the engine had just started leaking oil. The oil was leaking out of a small pipe hanging under the engine. The pipe is open at the end, and the oil was slowly coming out of it. After a few minutes the oil leak stopped. I am not sure of what is the purpose of that pipe. Might be there should be a cup in there and it was lost during the shipment, or maybe it is simply disconnected, but in that case I don’t see where it should be connected. Please note that the oil leak was not there before, and started only after I refueled the bike and attempted to start the engine.
I have made a small video of the pipe and the oil leak so that your team can review it and tell me if something else is missing, or wrong.
I would appreciate any help that they can give me.

Is there anybody that can tell me if all of this is normal? should I attempt to start the bike anyway? what can I do to get this leak fixed? needless to say there are no big dog dealers anywhere in europe, and the closest thing to it an harley davidson shop many miles way from here...
Thank you very much.
