Oil Leak

I finished putting the bike together tonight (just had it repainted) and fired her up for the first time this season. I run it for a few min (its midnight and I dont think the new neighbors would be too happy with me ripping around on it) shut her down and start packing. I test fit my new back on my sissy bar and notice I have a puddle of oil on the floor. It looks like its coming from my crank case breather. I have always had a slight leak there, but this is bad.:down:

I need some ideas on what to look for. I am suppose to be leaving Wednesday morning to go to Laconia, and obviously cant go with the bike leaking this much oil. I checked, and there is oil in the tank, I thought maybe my oil had leaked into the crank case, but I thought that the oil would go back to the tank, and not leak out of the breather. Any other suggestions? :bang::bang::bang:

Could have been oil in the crankcase or comminly refered to as sumping if it sat a while

yeah sounds like it wet sumped - it should stop once its been ran a while and the excess has been blown out

Thanks guy. That's what I was thinking too, but just got me nervous seeing as I leave in less than a day. Let's hope that's all it is.
