My old timers disease kicked in this morning. I accidentally drained the crankcase oil on my 07 k9. Will this fill from the oil tank or do I have to add directly to the engine? thanks

would this be the engine oil you speak of or the primary case???? exactly which did you drain...if it is engine oil you fill from under the seat

I drained the engine crankcase oil (plug at bottom of engine) about a quart of oil drained out. Then I drained the engine oil tank. Normally one should not drain the crankcase. thanks

you just need to fill from the tank,you can drain from the crank case but dont need to every oil change and becareful that drain plug can get stripped very easy,just sayn
