part number/ cross reference

i removed the rocker cover gasket off of my 2009 wolf x wedge 121 ci as it was leaking. does any of you know if i can get one at the HD shop? if so, is there a part number i can give to the part guy at the HD shop.

No. Order from one of our sponsors or go to any Indy shop or call S&S.

whats a indy shop? got it, independent shop. i did but they don't have in stock. BDM has them in stock but i don't want to wait. i need my dog on the road.... its a nice day here in NC

do you think i can temporally use liquid gasket?

Is it leaking that bad? Hell, mine have been leaking for a year. Go ride

raywood, it was leaking to the point where it spread all over the pipes making it smoke. i order a new gasket from BDM. in the meanwhile i put the old one back on as well as a liquid gasket i got from auto zone. waiting for it to dry and then I'm riding.

Husker, i went against what you said. i hope it works out well for me.

That is a pretty good leak then. Seems a couple bolts came loose. Reason mine leaks is cause against the manuals recommendation I used gasket sealer on mine. Big no no! ha ha :D

Will get you by though till you get a replacement gasket. Ensure you clean all those threads good and torque them to spec. Have fun.

Indeed, just got back from a quick ride and all went fine. i needed it as much as the wolf needed to be out in the open.

the gasket will be here by this weekend. i will redo all the work again and install the new gasket. Thank you forum for all the help and support.

gratz on the quick fix...enjoy the weather while you can..lol....a bad day riding is still better than a good day not riding
