Primary Gasket

for an 04 Ridgeback. Do I need a BDM specific gasket or will an HD work? If so which one?

not trying to hi-jack your thread but is the gasket a one time use thing if i take it off to check internals

I think you can re-use them, I just want to have one handy just in case.

04 and earlier are all HD compatable. For the record I've pulled my primary cover and re-used my gaskets/seals many times without problems.

As long as the gasket isn't severly damaged you can clean them and reuse them continuously. Just make sure you apply enough sealant on the inspection cover gaskets and correctly.
