REAR END RATIO

I hate math wonder what you gear heads think.I think lee posted that he wanted more torq from his scoot.Im to far off thinking that i could get 10% increase from a gear change? I seldom see 6th gear but when i do i feel the motor is lugging.With a 34 tooth rear trany pulley which mine has, shorter belt maybe,then go to a 30-or 29 tooth pulley.I know i will gain rpm in direct gear but should mutiply a little more torq in all the other gears. Is 10% to far of a gain?

I know what you mean... I use to change the gearing on my rocket all the time... but I don't think I'll F with the BDM... it seems to be geared well.. IMHO

For anything performance (even though it's not my thing) I always refer to Nightrider. Don't know if it applies to our BD's but.........
