Rear wheel bearings 2003 pitbull

Energy One
We have a 2003 pitbull with the big wheel on the back and we need to replace the rear wheel bearings. Have the parts and have the wheel off and have the right tools to do the job but the issue is no matter what we do we cannot get the bearings out. It’s like they are welded in there and we don’t want to mess up the wheel. If anyone has any suggestions how we can get them loose so the bearing puller will pull them out PLEASE DO TELL! thanks everyone!!

Thank you for the reply! Yes that is what we have but it is like they are welded in there they won’t budge and with it being an aluminum wheel we don’t want to do too much heating or anything and was wondering if maybe anyone else has had this issue

I’ve used a big punch or heavy pipe and a 3lb hammer on my now sold 03 pit and same on my current 08 k9. Started doing it like that as a diesel tech in the Army and as a civilian tech back in my “younger” years. There are better tools like Knot suggested so try what works for you. I have not yet had to heat my wheels and thankful for that.
