Removing the tach ring

Anybody got any insight on this, got the speedo out now tring to remove tach to have shell chromed looks like glued in???

If I remember correctly, there is a large round split ring on the inside that holds it in. Just remove that and it should come out.

Pull the spring wire out of it and it will fall apart. Order a manual!! It's all in there.

No problem. Just yell when you need something out of it. :flag:

While you are in there fill all the connections with die-electric grease and maybe spray the back of the tach board with some of that sealer spray BDMRidgeback shows in his how to. Use some RTV at the hole in the back where the wires go in to help displace water.
