A few lessons I learned after working on the wireplus for a while that would have helped.
1) After you take the back off of the 2 amphenal plugs that go to EHC so you can see where the wires go to each pin, take a razer blade/utility knife and cut the ring of plastic that remains and goes around the outside of the plug as far back as you can. It will make it a lot easier to identify the wires. A wasted a lot of time not being able to tell if I was cutting the right wire or not.
2) On my K9, some wires coming in from the battery box from the rear are not necessarily going to the rear of the bike but were routed under the battery box. Some of those wires can be re-routed for a cleaner looks.
If you run into any roadblocks or have questions, Jake and BDB were quick to help. I personally used the "How To" on here, the instructions that came with the wire plus and and a wiring diagram that Jake will send you if you ask. Probably took me longer cuz I was always triple referencing to make sure I wasn't screwing up.
One more note, Jakes directions are cool cuz they have pix, but the wire plus directions do the installation in a different order and one of the plusses for the directions that come with it is you test the circuits as you are installing them which will quickly ID if you made a mistake as opposed to waiting to the end and trying to figure it all out. Your choice on which way is best for you.
