Speedo acting up

I have a 07 BD Chopper and more often than not, when I start the bike up, everything seems to work OK (tac, idiot lights, ...) except the speedometer don't work. If I turn off the ignition and then back on, it usually starts working. The bike is still under warranty so I'd like to get some opinions here before I take it in for warranty work. Thanks a lot in advance for any & all advice you can provide me with.

there is a service bulletin for that very action. take it to your dealer and have them re-program the ehc if your bike has the rectangular port. this will cause the speedo to recycle after the bike has cranked and should function as it should.

while you are there, have them check on all the service bulletins just for shits and giggles.
