SPEEDO SPIKES

Does anyone know what causes the speedometer to jump at a dead stop up to 50 mph and then occasionally when your rollin maybe spike downward in mph???not that this means anything cause the speedo was replaced 1 month ago but is it something outside of the speedo that causes this or is it a sign of another speedo goin to shit?????

When they replaced it did they flash your EHC? Does your speedo sweep when you turn the key on and then again after it starts?

it does ray,but i have no idea if he flashed the computer.......tonite my clutch hub nut came off 25 miles from home..when it rains it pours but at least its keepin my mind off all the other stupid things in life i've been dealin with for past year,plus keeps me busy.......................

My speedo did that too and it was bad..but then again the EHC was going out little by little..it had 300 miles on my bike when speedo did that..and 600 when 1st EHC left me riding Bitch on my friends Harley.I hate that EhC and if I keep my bike Im GUTTIN it all completely with that kit that in here on 1 of these post..
