Squealing Dog !

Learned a lot in the past weeks looking through this forum.
Just came back form a quick ride with my 05 Pitbull, right at sunset. Perfect ride, until ....a loud squealing noise coming from the back, just as I was slowing down and leaning to take a curve. I stopped. checked the bike. Nothing as I can tell. Did this again later once, not as loud. Reminds me the loud noise you hear on a car when some gravel get stuck between the break caliper and the disc.
Any body recall the same event ? Anything I should be aware of with the wheel bearing ?
Scared the s--t out of me !

Thanks

Did you check the rear caliper for looseness or brake pad anti rattle spring.spring could have broken and hitting rotor.just something to look at.

I have heard the some noise before, you better check the rear bearings. Mine had one bad one, so bad that it took out the axle as it just welded itself on the the axle. Had to cut the axle to get out. Good luck and hope it's something small and not a bearing.

Thank you all for your input. Brake seems fine. The bearings for what I see (the 2 on the outside) look Ok too. Just dropped the dog at my local shop as I am not an expert.
Carlos, was the noise on yours all the time or on occasion ?
Time is ticking here in MI ... hope to get it back soon

It made that noise only when I turned left. Wheel never did wobble, bike ran good except for the left turn squeal. :2thumbs:
