Starter Ground Cable Sparking After Wire-Plus Install

Installed a Wire-Plus Harness in my '07 K9. Everything works just fine, except when I attempt start-up, the starter ground cable connection sparks, and finally melted at the grounding bolt cable end. Starter engages and turns engine over. I have triple-checked my wiring. No fuses blow. Anyone have any ideas as to why this is happening?
Thanks for the tips. Problem ended up being a defective end (loose connection) on my main ground cable from the battery neg. to the upper mounting bolt of the starter solenoid housing. Replaced the cable, went to a new ground, everything works great. Just a lot of chasing my tail. Hope this helps someone else.

May not be related...pretty sure the install should not have come near the starter end of the cable.

Sounds like the cable has a break or is not seated correctly....
