I would start with replacing the battery. That seems to be the most common reason for starting problems and the cheapest part to start with, I need a new battery also, I have been shopping around and you can get a battery from any HD shop for around $100.00:cheers:

What they said and check your ground at the attachment bolt and the hot wire on the starter its self for tightness. You can take your old bat to the local HD dealer and get a AGM for around a hundred or so bucks. also always keep the battery on a bat tender. If it doesn't start after that i'll give ya a hundred buck for the bike J/K:D Good luck
