Stem is stuck.

Went to take speedo off to shine and dielectric grease everything under tank and all connections elswhere. The problem I am having is I can't get the stem off the handlebars. I took the 2 -5/16 bolts out and it wiggles around but can't get the damn thing off. Don't want to get the BFH out just yet. Any and all suggestions are appreciated.

Don't worry it will come off they stick pretty hard. Just work it up and down by hand it will break free.

You took out both bolts here trying to remove your speed o?

:up:Thanks Alhall, I just worked back and forth an it finally came off. I am suprised how well it was on there. All is good

BikersDream, it was the bolts that hold the stem to the handlebars.
