Hey Vette, thats not much info but it's supposed to squirt fuel out of the accelerator when you twist the throttle. That's what it's for.

Give a bit more indo. What speeds, what RPM's, on throttle or off? What do you have on for intake and exhaust?

Where is the accelerator set to (how many turns out from seated?).

Its squirting fuel on the outside of the carb> There is a bell looking seal on the right side off the carb shaft and blowing fuel all over my engine when I accelerate hard. It shuts down at 5k and chokes sometimes when I rev off idle

Oh, then you are going to have to get the re-build kit and fix it. Only thing I can think of that gas would be squirting out of would be the pump cap on the bottom. Maybe someone removed it and screwed it up when replacing it.

Re-build it or send it to Triple X for some kool mods.

Iron Horse or Big Dog they both have S&S motors same as Swift, Titan and all the others.

I think you should fix your accelerator problem or re-build the carb then re-assess you carb issue. I can't help you with an issue at 5K as I never get that high!

But you might refresh everyones memory here and tell us what size motor you have and what jets are in the carb. You location will help also. Include intake and exhaust.

But if you are asking about Hi rev limitsm, BDM are set at about 6250 I believe and your AIH should be similar at around the 6000 RPM mark.

I think Ray is right on. Get the carb fixed then see if the 5k issue is still there.
